PITCH PLEASE! THE MUSICAL SHOWDOWN is a fully improvised battle of the bands at Dynamo. Rival groups, your suggestions, no setlist, a live house band ready for anything. Whatever happens it happens ONCE.
What to expect:
Bands With Big Egos: frontpeople who think they invented music, bandmates who'll have to live with it.
Bigger Songs: power ballads, breakup bangers, and at least one chorus you'll catch yourself humming on the tram home.
Rivalries That Spiral: stolen lyrics, dodgy alliances, the kind of feuds that make Oasis look civil.
Total Spontaneity: no script, no setlist, no safety net. Just the making it up as the spotlight swings.
We've got a few free tickets going for volunteers. Please reserve a ticket for this. If the volunteer tickets are gone, the spots are filled. If you're up for helping out, you need to be at the venue by 18:30. We'll need hands for setting up chairs, working the bar, and checking tickets at the door. Nothing complicated, we'll show you everything when you get there.

Make sure you come to the cellar of the Dynamo building. Make sure you arrive on time since door will close 5 minutes after the show begins.
Leave your good taste at the door. The only thing you can count on is a decent hook and a plot twist you didn't see coming.
